Dearly Beloved, January 26, 2021
Greetings for the New Year 2021 in the Mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who is the beginning and the ending of all times. Who has
given us the free gift of Salvation with eternal life, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
It is rather late to still be wishing as I expected to be back in India and write from there after February 8th. This was a fruitful trip even with the delay to
get some things done for the work there, and hence our prayer “thy will be done.” International travel has become so unpredictable and uncertain, that
we have to take the chance in booking the tickets and wait till the last minute. Either it could be cancelled, or you could be denied entry if tested
“positive” for Covid, done only seventy two hours prior to the travel date. We have already encountered three cancellations with two of them given no
refund, but only vouchers for future travels. It reminds us to embolden our voice to pray “thy kingdom come, O Lord!” But thanks be to God, who
causes us to triumph, and giveth victory through our Lord Jesus Christ as we live from faith to faith until we see its author and finisher face to face.
Never did we predict such a downward spiral in this God-blessed nation, but as we know from the Scripture, there should come a “falling away” first
before we see our Saviour return to save us from the very “presence” of sin, and His wrath that is to follow. America has moved away from holding
forth the Word of Life, just as England did and is devoid of God today. The Psalmist says, Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and
let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. Psalms 40:16; 70:4.
Thank God for technology which kept me very busy with the ministry in India online connecting with all the mission churches and having monthly
pastor’s fellowship on Google Meet. We had a two-day meeting on 14th and 15th of this month at Smyrna Baptist Church, and we had few young men
surrendering to serve the Lord. Being on the opposite time, I’ll be preaching into the camera at midnight on Saturdays here and onto the screen there.
And on all the weekdays the translation work at 5 am, affects my time to get some rest. I am now 57, but some ask me if I’m 75, and some even
thought my dad was my brother because he had all his hair till the end.
We would like for you to pray for these ministerial needs:
1. The completion of the Telugu Bible and the printing of it, with the needed finances.
2. The new Children’s Home has run into some problems with the locals resisting the registration of the property title after the work has started.
3. Aleph Academy to get more students, a state recognition, a scholarship program perhaps on our mother’s name (Nirmala Memorial Fund for
Scholarship) since it was her desire to have a Christian School in the ministry. This would help those who wish to send their children but are unable
to pay the higher Accelerated Christian Education fees because we have to order the Paces from the US paying custom duty.
4. Rising persecution on Christianity and the threats on the mission churches while doing outreach. But praise God for souls being saved in spite of it.
4. Our fifteen-year-old ministry van has about $2000 work to have it re-registered. And I need to purchase another vehicle after mine ran into trouble
forcing me to sell it for depreciated value. Both these vehicles are necessary for us to function in different directions.
5. Dual status for us would make international travelling much easier as the times are getting tougher politically.
Note: I need to apologize and clarify regarding the abbreviation “BLMF” that I used in my last letter, which caused a bit of a misunderstanding and curiosity. It was in reference to the “Bible &
Literature Missionary Foundation” in Tennessee which is a Bible printing ministry.
We are very grateful to you all for your faithfulness in prayerfully supporting the ministry in India. Our love and continual prayers for you are assured.
Serving the Saviour till the end
